The market place for the EcoVend® is any premise with large hard floor space, sanitary facilities, and bio-hazards area that must be cleaned on a regular basis with mechanical scrubbers or the more traditional “bucket and mop/brush” system. Either method most often utilizes the manual preparing and mixing of the cleaning chemicals where dosing is determined by judgment rather than accurate dosing. In addition, the time spent by cleaning personnel working their designated area may or may not be sufficient to properly clean the area as compared to a “Measured Standard” of desired cleanliness.

Quality cleaning of certain establishments is even more critical than others due to the “nature” of the facility. The cleaning of such premises requires specialized chemicals that must be dispensed in exact quantities and the designated work area takes a predetermined amount of time to properly clean. Traditional cleaning methods do not provide the ability to measure chemical and cleaning material consumption.

The application of the EcoVend® to measure chemical and cleaning material use and the time used by the cleaning personnel compared to a predetermined standard, “Measure to a Standard”, provides management of the cleaning contingent with reports to insure the cleaning personnel are using the correct amount of chemicals and the personnel are spending the necessary time to properly clean the designated area. This type of data can be very important in Health Care facilities, Food Services establishments, Hospitality facilities, and Commercial buildings. The EcoVend® is equally effective in Airports, Retail Establishments, Local Government facilities, Health Clubs, Schools, etc. A study by Swedish and English researchers say school children are being negatively affected by unacceptable standards of hygiene in school restrooms and are calling for legislation to set acceptable standards and maintenance.
